Productive capacities of the company: ammophos (MAP 12:52) – up to 120 thousand tons a year, ammonium nitrate phosphate fertilizer (NPK 16:16:16 and NPK 10:26:26) – up to 180 and thousand tons a year respectively, up to 36 thousand tons of fertilizer mixtures of ТМ “Стимул” (“Stymul”).

Fertilizers are fundamentals of intensive agrarian production, increase of yielding capacity and enhancement of quality of agricultural products is impossible without application of advanced highly efficient means of mineral nutrition, in particular phosphatic fertilizers. Ukraine has only three plants processing phosphatics, among which is PJSC “DNIPROVSKYY PLANT OF CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS”.

PJSC “DPCF” was founded in 2002 based on two state companies of chemical industry – “Agrophos” and “Ammophos” that used to be part of one of the USSR chemical giants – “Prydniprocsky Chemical plant”. Powerful technical potential of these companies became a fundament for further flourishing. Nowadays, due to significant production modernization PJSC “DNIPROVSKYY PLANT OF CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS” has become one of leading companies at national fertilizer market and has gained deserved international recognition – from neighboring countries to leading EU and world agrarian countries.

In process of reconstruction new steam boiler station made by German Loos company, compressor station with three Finnish-made up-to-date compressors, Italian packing line, knot of raw materials (potassium chloride with ammonium pulp) mixing were put into operation. A method of dry dosing of raw components, modernized system of technological processes management and automation also were launched.

Due to a number of taken measure portion of energy sources in cost prices of finished goods reduced from 25% to 13%. Upon end of the first stage of reconstruction the plant has the technical capacity to produce ammophos NP 12:52 up to 120 ths t a year, NPK 16:16:16 – up to 180 ths t a year, NPK 10:26:26 – up to 150 ths t a year.

One of main production accomplishments is the “large” granule that allows us to make fertilizer mixtures. European partners, in particular Fertilia company (Hungary) use DPCF-made ammophos for producing this modern king of fertilizers

In comparison with plants-competitors DPCF has a range of important advantages. At first, flexible technological scheme ensures reinstallation of production depending on the customer’s wishes for the shortest time. Second, whole technological cycle takes place “under the same roof” that has positive effect on cost-price and quality. Third, the plant is specific in regulated front of charge and storage scheme. Thanks to its own storages there is the possibility to store about 15 ths t fertilizers at the same time. The company delivers products directly to the customer any way the latter wants – in bulk in vans or trucks, in stitched bags, Big-bags, including additional expenses operations. Present-day logistics system JUST-IN-TIME enables reduction of waiting for products delivery to the customer’s address by 5-7 days which is unique for Ukraine. According to director of Romanian Feromat company George Savu, this ensures significant advantages of DPCF at European market of fertilizers as well.

The most important is that Dniprovskyy Plant of Chemical Fertilizers operates at the international standards level and meets all requirements of national and foreign consumers. Fertilizers pass clean inspection of such leading inspectorates as SGS, Inspectorate and Alex Stewart. So, in 2010 DPCF products passed testing in authorized European laboratories as to compliance with technical requirements of REACH law. As says Viktoria Zaliznyuk, Deputy General Director for foreign economic affairs, “it was identified since the first test which is not that common among fertilizer producers in the world. Indicators of heavy metals content and radioactivity were 5-6 times below critical standards.”

DPCF is an active participant of world and European conferences of chemical fertilizers, being a registered participant of IFA - International Fertilizer Industry Association since 2003. In 2011 Director General of Association Luke Man visited company’s Kyiv office personally.
